Now I am a Senior 3 student.
Almost everyone tells me : After this year, you will be free.
But is that true?
I like to travel, but I don't have enough money.
I like to make friends, but I don't know how to find them on the net.
There are so many things waiting me to solve.
I want to know more about the world!

Long time no see July26th

What a sunny day!
I have not renewed the blog for a long time. There is nothing happening these days. The most important thing in China is the Olympic. Fortunately, August 8th is also my birthday, so I will celebrate my birthday with people all over the world.
And what about my study?
Well, I still do a lot of homework. And sometimes, I can't bear this kind of boring life with the homework which maybe can't be dealt with in so little time. And my mom doesn't allow me to go to the Internet for relaxing. Ok! I know she is worried that I will play too much on the net. But I can controll myself.
Now my biggest wish is that I can get up at 8. OMG! God gives me a hand, please!

Today I have just seen a TV show” America’s next top model contest”. I very like the girl named Elyse Sewell. She is very sweet, graceful and classical. In some pictures, she is very like Twiggy. Now she works in Hong Kong and you can see her ads for Chow Sang Sang everywhere. She is very lovely in the ads. I want to be a very graceful and classical girl, too. But I am not very pretty and in the middle height, 168cm. However, beauty is from inside to outside and I am ambitious and full of energy, so I am also very “pretty”, too.

Well, another sunny day and another busy day!

To take the test successfully, I have to work hard everyday. I possibly have to work for 15 hours, but I like this kind of life, especially busy life, which can make me feel comfortable and full of energy. In China, doing the reference books is very common and the market of reference books is very hot. If you want to have a business in China, I suggest you have a business on reference books, especially in Shanghai, Peking, Jiangsu …some big areas which are relatively rich and where the exam is very difficult and competitive. Just like me, I have to do 11 books about 4 subjects, but someone else maybe do more! And I usually get up at 6.30am, but some students in other areas even get up at 4 or 5 o’clock and begin to study. Otherwise, the ability of reciting is also important. I can’t recite very quickly and usually spend half or 1 hours in reciting a passage with hundreds of words, however, my classmates just read the passage for several times and then they can recite it very fluently. That is amazing!

No matter how hard the life will be, I will walk toward my destination. My ambition is to be a successful CFO and go to the University of Illinois to study accounting. I want to be a powerful woman. I am sure that I will do that.

Time passed quickly. When I still remember what I have done in Senior One, Senior Three is coming.

Today is so hot that I don’t want to study any more. But it can’t come true. We still have English, Math, Chinese and Chemistry.

The university entrance examination in China is a bit different from that in other countries. Otherwise, the exam in different places in China is also different. For example, the total score in Beijing is higher than that in Shanghai and the exam test papers are almost different. I am a Senior 3 student in Shanghai, so I will be the candidate of Shanghai. I will have 5 tests including in Chinese, Math, English, Chemistry and comprehensive test, which we also call “3+x”test. What is the “3+x”? “3”means the 3 main subjects which are Chinese, Math and English, which you must learn and understand. “x” means an alternative subject which is chosen by yourselves. Different students have different choices. If you are a student of liberal arts, you have 3 choices, History, Politics and Geography. And if you are a student of science, you also have 3 choices, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. So I am a student of science. And the comprehensive test is about all subjects like Chinese, Math, English, Physics, Chemistry, History, Politics, Geography and Biology.

In some ways, this exam decides your future life, so it is very important. What kinds of university you will enter mostly depend on the score of the test. The higher your score is, the better the university will be. The condition is different from other countries. We don’t need to write some letter of recommendation to a lot of universities, just need your wonderful score no matter how bad you were in the past. So it is a little unfair. We have to work for 15 more hours and you have to do some strange and difficult questions. However, everybody besides me have to cleat this hurdle and go toward another one.
